Today may not explain tomorrow, but it defines tomorrow. Tomorrow may explain yesterday, but could never define it.
My parents, especially my father had always insisted (among other things) on quality, honesty and nothing less. There were times I thought I would impress my father with what I had done, but he was not moved. Then it felt like he was just a hard to please. Over the years, I have come to realize he was intentionally shaping me, even when he did so to his discomfort. My parents are a key positive influence on my outlook to life today.
