The constant and consistent nature of God makes Him the most unique Being in the universe. His unending and unfailing love is completely unmatched, transcending time and eternity. Love is His very nature, making Him the greatest Being ever to exist and ever will.
His very existence is beyond description. Everything that exists or will ever exist, exist only through Him. He knows the beginning from the end. The future is all played out before Him, like it’s happened already. He exists in eternity, there He is, looking at all, and giving life, changing lives, charting the course of man.
He is greater than words could ever describe, His ways far beyond our feeble minds could ever comprehend. His greatness is far beyond all the universes all put together. His wisdom not comparable to any other. If God were foolish, man’s wisdom will still pale in comparison.
God intricately weaves the affairs of man, in the middle of any storm, He knows what will happen next, He speaks, yet most times we do not hear, concerned only about the storms around us, still He speaks regardless, His love holds us, keeps us from giving up, even when that is the easiest thing to do, somehow we find the strength to hold on. And just when all hope seems lost, we ‘see’ Him come through.
Fact is, He has always been there, before the storm, during the storm, and after the storm. He has always been there, before our very existence, through whatever we may have faced. His grace and love stronger than the greatest storm, the worst furnace, the strongest of quakes, His loving kindness more than any mind could conceive. He is love! That is who He is. He couldn’t be less, if He were less, we could never exist. His very holy nature would consume us in our original sin state. In the darkness while we still sought the light, we would have been wiped out.
His very nature of love, saw and knew where we all as humans would end, in death, if He did not step in that is. And in His grand design, somehow He had a master plan, well-orchestrated and executed, costing Him is very Son. He made a way to get us saved from ourselves. Did He have to? Was it worth saving man? Not sure, but He did. And why? Simply because He is love! His love transcends logic and reason. He loves regardless, He loves whether we are aware of it or not. Same reason the sun shines every day, regardless of who it shines on, same reason there’s a new day every day, and most of all, same reason Jesus died on the cross for the us, the very men that put Him to death.
His grand plan did not stop there, He came back to life and everything, wherever, on earth, below the earth, above, all the heavens, universes, planets known and unknown, whatever our minds can conceive or not conceive, all have been placed right under His power and authority. Death no longer has a hold on our souls as saved beings. We stand with heads held up high in complete confidence of the future. Not because we deserved this, nor that we did anything, but because He chose to love us.
How great can the Almighty be? How can His ways be fathomed? Who understands how He works? Who knows how the heavens were formed? Who understands why He does the very things He does? And when He is seemingly silent, who can explain? Why do the things that happen to us happen, good or bad? Can we truly understand why we exist? Why do we ever appear lost? Should we have answers to all the questions we ask? If we did, would we have the capacity to handle the answers we get? Would our mortal minds understand or comprehend the response we get?
In the end, He is God, He is great and above all He is Love! If only we could just rest assured that He’s got us covered, we would worry less, if at all. We would live our lives to the fullest. We would cherish each moment, every joy, and smile through the storm, knowing for a certain that in the end we – His every own, are always in the center of His will. Whether we understand what is happening or not, let us be like little children, without a care or worry, because the Almighty, the creator of the universe, our very own Father, cares for us, loves us very deeply and intimately more than we could ever comprehend. His very nature – love, should give us rest.
